Meet The Team
Nigel Horne
Nigel Horne produces, writes original content and maintains an ongoing role as an Executive Producer at Viking Film. Nigel has over 20 years business experience in the UK Film and Television Industry as a script editor, screenwriter, producer and distributor.
He is the screenwriter of award winning feature films starring world class acting talent, that have sold successfully theatrically, nationally ( BBC, SKY) and internationally. He has lectured extensively on screenwriting, and script edits on a one to one basis with numerous screenwriters. Many of his scripts have been, and are being, developed with the aid of funding from the UK regional screen agencies.
Miriam Cooke
Executive producer, Miriam Cooke, is head of content and oversees the development of Viking's film and Tv projects. A respected broadcaster and producer with over twenty years experience in the UK Film, Television and Media industry creating and producing feature film and television fiction and factual programming she has worked for the BBC, C4, five, Living TV, Discovery and National Geographic. Films and programmes include: C4 Wild about Britain, BBC Country tracks, The story of Now, Symphony of the Stones.Nat Geo, Discovery C5 Egypt Detectives; The Wedding tackle, Soldiers of the Damned, Free is the Spirit, Nico, Adrenalin.
She maintains excellent relationships with UK commissioners and European co-production partners and has a wide reach of contacts in the national and international film and television markets.
